This is the second job Dan and the Below Deck team have completed for me, and once again they exceeded expectations. Dan is very responsive and easy to work with. He and his crew are professional, efficient, and deliver excellent workmanship. Both projects were larger in scope and a bit challenging, yet they completed them in less than a week, without ever sacrificing quality. The finished product looks fantastic. Highly recommend Below Deck for any project!
I was very impressed with the overall service. When Dan came out and did the estimate, he was spot on and very thorough. The workers were awesome, very easy to talk to and explained everything that they were doing along the way. The deck had a lot of angles and odd things to work around, and the workers were very knowledgeable how to seal everything up. Every evening the work area was cleaned up very neatly. When the whole job was complete, besides the completed beautiful ceiling, you would have never known they were there.
I want to extend a big thanks to Below Deck Ceiling Solutions who completed our under-deck water proofing including lighting and a ceiling fan. We had a few bids for this project and they were the lowest and offered a superior product. Dan Suderman provided the estimate and the color choices and was our contact throughout the project. The materials even came in earlier than they estimated and the project was completed in about two days. Combined with our new patio, this under-deck project was worth every penny!

We saw a problem with one of our underdeck lights and called Dan to see how we could correct the issue. The same afternoon Dan came to our house, looked at the bad light and immediately replaced not only the one that went bad, but he also replaced the other one to insure that they both would last longer. He showed us what steps to take to replace the bulbs and made sure all the electrical connections were correct. He did an outstanding job. We are happy, satisfied customers since 2021. If we are in need of future assistance, there is no doubt Dan is the person we would want to reach out to.
I used Below Deck two years ago for my lower patio. They did a great job and the installers who worked on our project were meticulous and carful in their work. Dan was easy to work with and communicated clearly through the entire process. The product has held up great, and it's doing it's job perfectly with no water getting under our deck. It also looks so much nicer than the exposed joists of the decking above. It feels like a finished room space, and the lights they added really give great lighting at night when needed. I recommend Below Deck to everyone who asks about our ceiling!
Dan and his crew are, without a doubt, the best. To begin, Dan's communication is spot on. I knew exactly what to expect and when, and even when there were issues with suppliers, we knew immediately and were given different choices. Once that was completed, the installation went incredibly well. The team did an amazing job - the craftsmanship is top notch, they cleaned up each night during the process and stored their equipment and the supplies under a tarp so you knew exactly whose they were, and they were extremely respectful when we came and asked questions during the process. I never felt that they were put out by asking questions - in fact, quite the opposite.
I can't say enough good words about Dan and his team with Below Deck. We had an inferior under deck system installed a few years ago and it began to fail. I contacted Dan and he was fast to respond. He set up the quote, showed up quickly, thoroughly explained what we would need to tear down and replace our existing system, and went over colors with my wife and I. The price quoted was reasonable and much better than the comparable companies. They got us set up with a start date and started earlier than expected when they had an opening.
They were honestly one of the most impressive companies I have ever hired to work on my home. The entire crew was super professional, they showed up when they said they would, and they communicated the entire time. They even got started a week earlier than they thought they would. We have gained a huge amount of space by having the under deck Ceiling installed. The craftsmanship was top-notch and it looks absolutely amazing! Their system is much more cost-effective than extending our roof to cover the topside of the deck. I would recommend them to anyone looking to increase their outdoor living space!

It's all in the name, "Below Deck Ceiling Solutions" the key word being "Solutions". They delivered a gratifying solution as promised. From start to finish, Dan demonstrated honesty and integrity. He and his crew arrived when stated, were on time and always very professional. They provided the utmost high quality materials and services all within a timely manner. Needless to say we are absolutely thrilled with the under deck ceiling...it is absolutely gorgeous! Quality at its best..highly recommend.
Dan provided a very high quality service, in the timeline initially agreed upon. As Dan was doing the work, he even modified the original plans to be more efficient (both practically and cosmetically). This probably cost him more in product, but he felt it was the right thing to do. I appreciate people doing the right thing!
